I was motivated to start a blog by reading all the wonderful talented individual's who have blogs out there. So, I want to make this blog about everyone who reads it. My family and God always comes first in my life. I want to share my experiences and in turn, hope to get feedback and ideas from you. I love unique things, I adore anything that sparkles (not over the top though) I love decorating, cooking, gardening, photography and shopping. My number one passion is photography! To me it becomes more than a picture, it can become a piece of art, or a beautiful memory. Decorating, though I am not a professional, and don't claim to be, has been a part of my life since I was very young, and just love searching and shopping for new ideas and incorporate the old, such as Mid-Century Modern and Hollywood Regency with contemporary. Living close to the Gulf of Mexico in Florida, and being of Hispanic heritage, I love cooking Mexican food, and love to share my authentic recipes. Though I live in Florida, my heart is in the desert southwest, and hope that my family and I will return there very soon…keep your fingers crossed that my prayers are answered SOON!!!
I came across your blog after googling "HomeGoods decorating ideas" and let me tell you, I am obsessed with your home! You have done such a beautiful job decorating. I, too, find HomeGoods to be..well.. a home away from home. Almost all of my accent pieces are from our local HomeGoods in Brandon, Fl. I do not have a blog, yet. But yours has truely inspired me to create one. I'd love to see more of your decorating and beautiful home. Bravo!!Thank you and a very Happy and faithful easter to you.
@anonymous...wanted to write, in case you came across my blog again, and thank you so much for the very kind words. I have not yet been to the HomeGoods in Brandon, maybe I should put it on my list. It is my home away from home as well, the pieces and prices are just unbeatable. We are getting ready to re-paint the inside of our home, so you know that means another trip to HomeGoods :) Actually, I do try to go at least twice a week, not always to buy of course, but just to see what's in stock. Hope you start a Blog soon, there are so many wonderful sweet women out there, with great and inspirational ideas about home and family. Hope your Easter was wonderful...and thank you again.
Happy Easter!
